Translational Research

All students are required to:

  • Complete a minimum of 30 credits.
  • Achieve 3.0 or higher grade point average in order to graduate.
  • Attend the CMBS MS Professor Rounds in their first semester.

A) Non-Thesis Option

  • GPLS 600 - Translational MS Core Course (5 credits) or GPLS 601- Mechanisms in Biomed Sciences
  • GPLS 609, Section 07 - Laboratory Rotations (2 x 2 credits suggested, 6 credits max)
  • PREV 616 - Introduction to Clinical and Translational Research (2 credits)
  • CIPP 907 - Responsible Conduct of Research (1 credit)
  • GPLS 791 - From Bench to Bedside: Steps in Trans Research (2 credits)
  • GPLS 630 - Fundamentals of Biostatistics (or equivalent) (2 credits)

Course Work in Area of Emphasis: (6 credits selected from one of the below)

Stem Cell Research
