Fall 2026 Grant Writing Class

Getting a grant funded can be one of the most important things for your scientific career in whatever area you want to pursue. The fall 2026 grant writing class is a four-week class for students and postdocs who want to learn about grant writing or who are actively writing their grant. Participants can attend any or all of the 4 sessions which will happen over 4 weeks.

Careers in Pharma: A Look Inside Analytical Development at Bristol Myers Squibb

Curious what a scientific career in the pharmaceutical industry actually looks like day to day? Join scientists from Bristol Myers Squibb for an informal session designed for graduate students and postdocs considering a move into industry.

The first ~30 minutes will cover an introduction to BMS, an overview of the work our department does, and the kinds of roles and career paths available to scientists at various stages. The remainder of the session is an open Q&A — bring any questions you have about industry research, how hiring and interviews work, what makes a strong application, or general career advice.
