Prospective Students
Applications for the 2025-2026 academic year are now open.
If you have any questions about applying, please check out your program's How to Apply page or fill out the Request More Information Form and you will receive an email from the appropriate program staff member.
We highly recommend early and direct communication with Program Staff to ensure a smooth application process. They are experts in the application process and are happy to help you every step of the way!
Once you are ready to officially apply, you can do so online through the Graduate School website.
Our most competitive applicants have earned a GPA of 3.0 or better in their previous studies, have extensive research experience, and provide excellent recommendation letters. Each program has its own admissions committee where the members review each application with a holistic approach.
Did you know that only 3 of our programs require the GRE for admission?
- Epidemiology and Human Genetics (PhD)
- Epidemiology and Human Genetics (MS)
- Physical Rehabilitation Science (PhD) (Note: Applicants to this program who currently hold PT licensure in the US are not required to submit GRE Scores.)
Requirements for International Students
Language Requirements
You must submit either the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL), the International English Language Testing System (IELTS), or the Duolingo English Test for admission.
Transcripts and Mark Sheets
International applicants must provide one official transcript in English and one official native language transcript or mark sheet from each college or university attended. Each set of documents must list subjects studied, grades or marks received, and rank in class or division.
The Graduate Programs in Life Sciences (GPILS) requires international applicants to provide a transcript evaluation from a NACES member evaluation agency in addition to the official, translated transcripts or mark sheets. We recommend using one of the following companies:
