Diversity in PIN
The Program in Neuroscience (PIN) stands against all forms of racism, inequality, prejudice and bias. In cooperation with the UM-MIND IDEAS (Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, and Anti-racism in Science) Committee and the GPILS Office of Diversity, Equity, and Belonging, PIN aims to: 1) improve PIN BIPOC student recruitment; 2) eliminate bias in neuroscience curricula; 3) achieve equality in the classroom and laboratory settings and; 4) educate the public about issues of diversity in science through public outreach. We are confident that acting together, we can make real and positive change.
