Program Director

Todd Gould, MD

 Dr. Gould is a Professor in the Department of Psychiatry, where his laboratory investigates psychiatric disorders, aiming to understand pathophysiology and discover novel antidepressant mechanisms.  Dr. Gould has strong mentoring experience, for which he has been recognized, and experience holding additional Directorship roles, with service as the Research Director of the Psychiatry Residency Research Training Program and as a Director of the Division of Translational and Basic Science Research in the Department of Psychiatry.

Associate Director

Thomas Longden, PhD

Dr. Longden is an Associate Professor in the Department of Physiology, running a research group exploring the control of cerebral blood flow and its disruption in neurodegenerative diseases. He has served as a mentor for PIN students and Postdocs alike and has led the PIN Proseminar Course through important innovations.
