In 2008 GPILS issued its first Dedicated Service Award. Mrs. Kathleen Reinecke served the students and faculty of the Graduate Program in Biochemistry for over 20 years until she recently accepted a new position in the Department of Biochemistry. During that time Kathleen went above and beyond to ensure that every facet of the graduate program was tended to in a highly professional manner. The students, faculty and other GPILS staff will greatly miss her enthusiasm and being able to count on her excellent work. We wish Kathleen much success in her new position and look forward to working with her on future projects in her new capacity of Assistant to the Chair.
