Who Should Participate
MINISTP welcomes participation at various levels, depending on your enthusiasm for interdisciplinary research in neuroscience and immunology.
Graduate Students & Post-Doctoral Trainees
If you are a graduate student or post-doctoral trainee, we encourage you to apply for direct support from a T32 fellowship (see below for application procedures). Such trainees are encouraged to select from mentors listed below OR proactively build a new collaborative mentoring framework between experts in immunology and neuroscience on campus to address an important research question.
Faculty
If you are a faculty member interested in exploring avenues for collaborative research, please contact the program directors to join our mailing list, attend program meetings, and identify specific scientists on campus to collaborate with.
Students & Postdoctoral Fellows
Finally, if you are a student or postdoctoral fellow interested in learning more about the exciting developments at the interface of neuroscience and immunology, we encourage you to participate in our academic curriculum and presentation opportunities.
We understand that funded slots for trainees with fellowship support are limited, but the interactions and training opportunities developed under the program are available to the wider UMB community.
